We are looking for an experienced Shared Services Director (SSD) to develop and execute our business support services including Administration, HR, Financial, Legal and ICT. 

SSD will drive the development, implementation and continual review of our policies and frameworks to ensure effective management of the portfolio of activities, compliance with relevant legislation, guidelines and effective risk management.

Duties & responsibilities

SSD provides visionary leadership and management to improve operational effectiveness by overseeing and developing support services and extending these services to be fully global. 

He/she sets strategic direction for the administrative functions, anticipates key trends, opportunities and vulnerabilities and positions functional support to ensure that ONEiO’s infrastructure and systems are stable for current needs and for future growth.

SSD contributes to our overall strategy, leadership, values, company culture and decision-making through membership in the ONEiO Management Team. He/she will drive the implementation of feedback systems to drive customer service excellence.

SSD strengthens organizational use of data analysis, dashboards and reports to measure our organizational progress and health. He/she drives effective budgeting, business planning, and programme evaluation frameworks to optimise delivery of Shared Services programs and services.

He/she will develop and implement HRD and HRM processes across the organisation to strengthen and improve employee engagement, talent acquisition, retention and development as well as leadership development.

Ideal candidate has:

  • Minimum 15 years of work experience in a combination of finance, human resources or information technology disciplines (i.e., experience across several of the functions that this role oversees). 
  • Experience from working with a multinational SaaS company.
  • Hands on attitude; demonstrated ability to build high performing and agile organizations through effective processes, shared support services and systems for global operations.
  • Track record of building, motivating, facilitating and engaging teams; establishing accountability; establishing high performing company culture and developing leaders.
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a related field, e.g., economics, HR, accounting, finance, business administration, public administration/management.
